The allegations came to light when a court in the president''s home state of Maharashtra ordered the obloquy of Patil''s husband Devisingh Shekhawat, and five other kinsfolk members, to be struck off the topical realty records, the India news authority reported. The visit came in salutation to a petition filed by creator Kishore Bansod, who said the Shekhawats had fraudulently added their obloquy to the denomination deed of a 3.2 acre (1.3 hectare) place he had refused to delude them. âThe Shekhawats own nearly 200 acres in the community and were fascinated in owning this realty too,â Bansod''s attorney was quoted as locution by the newspaper. âMy computer wasn''t selection to delude the land. So the Shekhawats got it fraudulently transferred in their names.â But Shekhawat rubbished the charges of fraud saying: âThe realty officers measured the realty in a wrong behavior and showed it as ours when my ascendant bought it.â This is not the first instance Patil has been embarrassed by accusations of corruption.
