SC recommends larger bench for judges case

The governance comprised of Justice Shakirullah Jan and Justice Rehmat Hussain Jaffery also issued notices to the federation, Attorney General and four rustic exponent generals for retard in designation of judges in the apex court. Akram Sheikh Advocate, attorney of petiioner Nadeem Ahmed Advocate in his arguments during the chance contended that the judges should be ordained on vacancies within 30 days punctuation and retard in it is coequal to non-compliance of the court. Justice Rehmatullah Jaffery in his remarks said judges should be ordained on immediate foundation according to article 181 of constitution. In his remarks, Justice Shakirullah Jan said designation of judges in high courts is discretion of the Chief Justice. The suite has adjourned chance till February 18.
