SC special bench summons Attorney General

Earlier, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry taking suo saying notice of the authorised notification of judges’ designation formed a 3-judge governance headed by Justice Shakirullah Jan and comprised Justice Raja Fayaz and Justice Jawad S. Khwaja as its members. The bench, shortly after formation, held its initial meeting and summoned the Attorney General of Pakistan Anwar Mansoor Khan. Earlier, President Asif calif Zardari elevated Justice Khwaja Sharif as SC determine and Justice Saqib Nisar as Acting CJ of LHC finished an authorised notification. However, Justice Khwaja Sharif and Justice Saqib Nisar refused to accept the selection of the government.
